HONE

BASE UNIT OPTIONS Included in Standard machines

auto tensioner to provide consistant stone tension MSD-H-AT  The MS & D hone includes an automatic tensioning unit in the base configuration. A variable voltage clutch mechanism eliminates the need to manually maintain stone tension. This system will adapt to standard “Sunnen” honing tooling on existing machines, either MSD hones or "homemade units".
PLC control with easy screen interface and simple programming MSD-H-PC  The programmable controller (PLC) is incorporated as base option and can be replaced by  8-pin manually controlled relays in our hone control circuit, if desired. The touch screen display (shown on right) makes it easy to change the dwell, cycle count, timer values, and other input parameters.
