NUT-BUSTER®

BASE UNIT OPTIONS

50K Nut Runner combines the power of the nut buster with the speed of the hydraulic motor powered Nut Runner

MSD-50NR;   Shafts with extended threads or lighter torque requirements can be processed faster with the 50 NR Nut-Runner. With the increased productivity this Nut Runner will pay for itself in a short period of time.

The 50NR Nut Runner is a 50,000 ft/lb Nut Buster with an added Hydraulic motor to spin the nuts quickly at lower torque. The motor has a maximum torque capacity of 2500 ft/lbs

A valve manifold directs oil to either the cylinders for high torque activation or to the drive motor for variable speed nut removal.

Speed of rotation can be controlled when the drive motor is engaged.

MSD-N-RB: Rotating Base for the “Nut Buster®. All of the Machinery Service & Design “Nut Busters” can be manufactured with this option of a rotating base. This option eliminates having to reposition the “Nut Buster” when changing from removing to installing nuts or glands.

NOTE; The Rotating Base is now a standard feature of the Nut Busters, but the unit can be ordered with a plain base plate if desired.
