Pump Test Stand

A single station pump test stand is shown.

The MSD-PTS (Pump Test Stand)

We have taken 25 years of practical real world pump and motor repair experience and designed a safe, user-friendly, and affordable pump test stand. The Test Stand incorporates many features such as flooded suction lines, symmetry in test porting, safety glass view port for controls, and many more. Versatility of this stand comes not only in it’s use but in the component and drive system you want and/or wish to provide.

The Pump Test Stand is available in modules to allow you to select the features and capacity that you need. Sizes range from 20 HP to 400(+) HP, or the can be made to your exact specifications. We can use any brand of pumps, motors, valves, filters, etc. per your requests. It is also available in a manual control or PLC control, and can be set up for data acquisition hardware and software with either control option.

A regeneration circuit is available as an option to reduce the power demands of the test stand. We can use the regeneration circuit to test pumps with Horsepower draws 2-3 times as great as the electric motor on the pump test stand. You can use a 50 HP test stand electric motor to test pumps that require 150 HP to operate. Check out the article on the Regeneration circuit below for more information.
